I just arrived in Chogoria after a very productive day in Maua. As I mentioned I did complete the signing of our working agreement with Maua Methodist Hospital. We had a good meeting about our path forward. I was especially impressed by the focus on spiritual care of both the patients and employees.

I then moved on to Disability Children’s Center. We then went into the hills to see a child who had surgery for the burn scar on his wrist last year. He has done well, but failed to return for a second surgery to release his fingers. We thought he was at home, but he was at school. The pictures show the roads we were on and his hand.

We then returned toward town and had barbecue pork. It was done in the same manner as I described yesterday. It was a restaurant in a metal shack. Again proving you can’t always yell the quality inside from the outside appearance. (I think that applies to people also.) There are pictures of the restaurant.

The last stop was at the school that houses disabled children. Last fall I described the terrible beds that more than one child slept in. You can see, that thanks to your generosity that have good individual beds. Thank you.

I have also included some pictures of the kids Gary operated on. His church was instrumental in paying for the care.

Blessings
