Liz and I are leaving for Kenya on February 9. The major event while we are there will be the ground breaking for the new operating rooms at PCEA Chogoria Hospitals. This is a major step in the development of a full service department of orthopedic surgery. They need the added surgical capacity to meet the demand for orthopedic surgery. Thanks to you we have raised enough money to fund the project. The hospital will pay half and Wilson Rehabilitation Foundation and The Outreach Foundation will pay the other half. The total cost is expected to be $360,000. That is a great value considering what it would cost in the United States. While this is important, it is only a step toward meeting our over arching purpose, which is to restore God’s less fortunate people to mobility and productivity.

Jesus tells us in Matthew 25:40 “The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’

This is why we serve the people unable to pay for their orthopedic care. Thank you as we help these people and honor our God.

Blessings,

Doug
