August 26

I started the day with our annual meeting at Kikuyu Orthopedic Rehabilitation Centre. As usual the talk was of helping the patients and equipment. We are equipping a laboratory on site. Here to for, the patients had to up a hill to the main hospital which can be difficult for healthy people. It will greatly improve care at the only free standing orthopedic hospital in East Africa. It is the hospital I first worked at it is in a beautiful setting.

The Outreach Foundation churches and schools, I visited a large girl’s school donated by a donor from the US. It is amazing as you can see in the picture. Most are much smaller. Groups from the US come to Kenya and build some of the structures, which promotes relationships that last. A typical church is seen in the other picture.

There won’t be much to report over the weekend. Have a blessed weekend.
