We arrived safely and on time in Nairobi last night. No matter how you consider it, it is a long trip. Jet lag makes sleeping the first night difficult. We got up this morning for a good breakfast and we’re on the road by 10 am. We made a stop to get a new SIM card for the phone I use in Kenya. The trip is about 5 hours and is interesting. We drive through a variety of land, from flat to hilly. It is fun to see the goats, cows, donkeys and other animals. We always stop for lunch at the same place which has a grocery, gas, a small amusement park, and a restaurant among other stores. A few pictures are attached. The food is distinctly Kenyan.
We start the day with chapel tomorrow and then clinic. I hope this will send as the internet is slow.
